Our Holland Lop Story

“LA” continues to represent my two greatest joys — Lincoln and Aria, whose initials have always been part of our rabbitry’s heart.  My children have always had a  natural talent for bunny socialization and genuine passion shine through in every interaction with our growing Holland Lops. We pride ourselves in knowing that we are able to develop an extraordinary connection with our bunnies, helping each tiny companion discover and flourish into their own distinctive personality. 

“ROSE” is a tribute to the incredible women who inspired my love for bunnies from the very beginning.

My great-grandmother Rose raised German Lops alongside her daughter Lilo (my grandmother) during the war in Germany. Though I never had the chance to meet her, I can only imagine how amazing she must have been — strong, kindhearted, and devoted to her animals. “Rose” is also my mother’s middle name, and she has lovingly nurtured my passion for rabbits since I was just four years old, when I brought home my very first bunny — Rosie.

LA’ROSE LOPS is more than a name; it’s a piece of my family’s story, passed down through generations of women who shared a love for animals, beauty, and gentleness. I’m so excited to continue that legacy through every bunny raised here.re.

We've intentionally maintained an intimate-sized herd to ensure each precious Holland receives an abundance of personalized attention—from daily handling sessions that promote socialization to nutritionally-balanced premium feed supplemented with carefully selected nutrients. Our bunnies enjoy spacious exercise opportunities within our thoughtfully designed housing system, which seamlessly transitions between indoor comfort and outdoor enrichment to accommodate northern Ohio's diverse seasonal patterns.

Our breeding journey has evolved into a passionate pursuit of producing Holland Lops with striking, uncommon color variations while maintaining the classic breed characteristics that make Hollands so beloved. We've carefully selected our foundation breeding stock from established, respected bloodlines across Tennessee, Indiana, and Ohio to create our distinctive program.

Though we haven't yet ventured into competitive showing (and remain open to where our bunny adventure might lead us in that regard), we've found our true calling in connecting extraordinarily colored, exceptionally socialized Holland Lops with families seeking that perfect bunny companion. The joy of providing families with these uniquely colored, people-loving little friends has become our greatest reward, and we're thrilled to continue growing our bunny family's legacy with each precious litter!
